The Swainsboro Exchange Club welcomed guest speakers Genia Ducker, Twin City Clerk, and Brent Freeman, Director of the Twin City Recreation Department, at its regular meeting on Tuesday, October 21.

Ducker and Freeman shared an exciting overview of the upcoming 5th Annual Cotton Blossom Festival, which will be held Saturday, November 1, at and around the Twin City Welcome Center.

This year's festival promises to be the biggest yet, featuring more than 80 vendors, offering everything from arts and crafts to delicious food trucks. Attendees can also enjoy live music, interactive exhibits, a car show, and even a mechanical bull and shark ride. There will also be memorabilia including T-shirts, hats, and tote bags for purchase.

The Cotton Blossom Festival has become one of the area's most anticipated fall events, celebrating community spirit, local talent, and small-town fun for all ages. They ended the program by thanking all their sponsors and reminding everyone that all proceeds from the festival are donated to the Twin City Mayor Christmas Toy Drive.
