At 2:17 p.m. on Monday, November 1, a fully loaded log truck headed westbound on Highway 57 East overturned, spilling its load and entrapping the driver in the cab of the tractor. Swainsboro firefighters used the portable jaws from rescue one to extricate the injured driver. He was transported by EMS to David Emanuel Academy’s football field in Stillmore where he was loaded into Air Evac 102 and flown to a trauma center.
