The Swainsboro Rotary Club met Monday, July 20 at Rustic Grill with President Morgan Boulineau presiding over the meeting.
Dr. Shannon Lawrence was the speaker and is also a Rotarian. He gave the club updates on the Emanuel County Farm Tour that was held earlier in the summer. Dr. Lawrence has gotten so much positive feedback from the participants, that he wanted to share it with the club. He is shown holding a framed print of all the sponsors that helped with the tour that was a gift from one of the participants. Dr. Lawrence also gave updates on the Food Processing Facility in Twin City that processes fruits and vegetables during the summer months and cracks pecans during the fall.
After his presentation, the meeting was adjourned.
