Now, I know that there could be things in your life which you have asked God for and have not yet received. Neither have you gotten an answer. Well, I am sent today to encourage you. No matter what happens, don't give up. I am appealing to people of prayer. Hang on and don't let go.
You may be being disregarded by others, but trust God. Hannah in the book of I Samuel chapter one, “was disregarded and picked on for years but God favored her”. Your journey doesn't mean disaster because you are being challenged, it comes to strengthen your faith. Through Hannah's tears while she was praying, God answered her prayer.
In the same way Jacob wrestled with the angel. His hip was thrown out of socket. Through intense pain, he held on. He stayed in the fight. The angel requested to stop the fight so he could return back before daybreak. Jacob replied, “I will not let you go except you bless me”. Because he held on and didn't give up, his people, the Jews, are still living in his blessings today. (Genesis 32:26)
Jesus held on for you and I. He prayed in the garden of Gethsemane. Father, take this cup from me, but nevertheless, not my will but thine will be done.” God did not remove the cup from him, but he gave him the victory. Jesus rose from the dead the third day with all power given to him in heaven and in the earth. He won the victory for you and me.
So, the pains and disappointments you are facing doesn't mean that you are forgotten. Keep preserving. Stay in the fight. Read Luke 18:1-9. Hear what God has to say to you concerning your struggles. Don't give up, but give in to the power of prayer. (Matthew 26:39 & 28:18).
