As times in our lives continue to bring changes which we find different and difficult, we must not give up. Yes there are difficult days ahead but God is an unchanging God. He is the same yesterday, today and forevermore. So why get weary, or why be afraid? Just put your trust in the Lord.
Yes, shelves in the stores continue to be empty, gas and food prices continue to rise,
there is continued division in the nation but God is still faithful. He has promised to supply all our need according to his riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
But there is a condition we must meet. We want the blessings and the benefits but are we will to meet the conditions? For II Chronicles 7:14 gives the criteria. " If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land".
So now we have the answer. Since God is the same and his word is settled in heaven, we must make the change. The changes must begin in you and I. Go back to his word and take it step by step. God is waiting on us.
So today my brothers and sisters, let everyone examine themselves by asking, "Lord is it I"? Let us not give up but let us give in to the word of God. We can do this together.
