The Karrh Center continues to celebrate milestones in its revival. With the theatre now open and welcoming guests, another meaningful step in honoring its supporters is happening now: installation of the long-awaited donor plates has officially begun.
The plates recognize the individuals, families, and businesses whose contributions made the restoration of the former Dixie Theatre possible. Their support helped transform the Karrh Center into a vibrant destination for arts, entertainment, and community events in downtown Swainsboro.
Installation is currently underway inside the theatre, where the display will soon serve as a permanent tribute. Once completed, it will stand as a lasting reminder of the community spirit and partnerships that brought this historic landmark back to life.
Each name represents more than a donation — it reflects commitment, pride, and confidence in the future of downtown Swainsboro.
As the Karrh Center continues to host performances and welcome audiences, the donor plates will serve as a permanent “thank you” to those who helped turn the vision for the theatre into reality.
