The District Attorney's Office for the Middle Judicial Circuit of Georgia and the Emanuel County Sheriff's Office, in cooperation with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and other law enforcement agencies, have arrested four subjects in a child exploitation investigation. Prosecutors filed a criminal complaint against the four individuals, all of whom now face federal charges related to child sexual abuse, child pornography production, and sex trafficking of minors.

The complaint names the following individuals:

• Jhirmichael Williams, a 34-year-old male

• Bryon Willis, a 53-year-old male

• Samantha Reese, a 35-year-old female

• Samantha Bradford, a 30-year-old female

Each individual is accused of participating in criminal acts related to the sexual abuse and exploitation of minors, including producing and trafficking child pornography.

The investigation began after the District Attorney's office reviewed evidence obtained after a search warrant on a cell phone belonging to Bryon Willis. The contents of the phone revealed graphic and disturbing child exploitation material. Willis was charged with several offenses, including the sexual exploitation of children.

The District Attorney's Office contacted the Emanuel County Sheriff's Office for assistance in identifying the children depicted in the videos. Sheriff Brewer devoted considerable resources to the investigation; however, it quickly became apparent the investigation would span multiple jurisdictions. District Attorney Fitzner contacted United States Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia Meg Heap, US Attorney Heap responded and within the same day the request was made.

As the investigation unfolded, agents discovered additional videos and photographs and communications indicating multiple people allegedly involved in the abuse and exploitation of minors. Investigators uncovered communications indicating that Jhirmichael Williams, the father of one of the victims, engaged in sex trafficking and coercion involving his child. These communications also revealed Williams financing and coordinating sexual acts with the minor for sexual gratification.

In multiple interviews with investigators, Samantha Reese said Williams had coerced and forced her, along with other individuals, to engage in sexual acts with minors, Reese identified others, including Samantha Bradford, who is believed to have assisted in the production of child exploitation materials.

Williams allegedly used his phone to record several instances of child sexual abuse and then blackmailed those involved. Investigators also uncovered videos of minors being coerced into engaging in sexual acts with both Reese and other adults, with Williams recording the actions.

The individuals named in the complaint face serious federal charges, including:

• Sex trafficking of minors, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1591,

• Production of child pornography, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2251,

• Possession of child pornography, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2252,

• Enticement and attempted enticement of minors, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2422(b),

• Aiding and abetting the production and distribution of child pornography, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2.

The charges are based on evidence, including video recordings, images, text message communications, and testimonies from the victims.

The investigation continues. Authorities urge anyone with information about to this case, or similar activities, to come forward.
