The GIAA State Team Tennis Tournament was held Wednesday, April 29, at the Randy Stephens Tennis Center in Macon.
In the opening round, David Emanuel Academy girls team earned a strong 3-0 victory over Thomas Jefferson Academy, with singles wins coming from Emily McRae, Lyla Martin, and Aubrey Scott to secure the team win and advance to the semifinals.
In the semifinal round, the Eagles faced LaGrange Academy in a tightly contested match but fell just short, 3-2. The doubles teams of Kaley Flowers and Payton Peebles, along with Sydney Lively and Kate Yeomans, both earned impressive victories. However, LaGrange Academy claimed all three singles matches, defeating Emily McRae, Lyla Martin, and Aubrey Scott to edge out the win.

The David Emanuel Academy boys team opened tournament play against Citizens Christian Academy (CCA) in the first round. The Eagles secured the victory with wins from Ben Griner and Bentley Smith in singles, along with the doubles team of AJ Edenfield and Jack Evan Fields, advancing to the semifinal round.
In the semifinals, DEA faced a strong LaGrange Academy team and came up short, ending their tournament run.
