DEA Eagles take victory over Twiggs Academy

Lady Eagles roll past Twiggs Academy, improve to 5–0 in Region Play

David Emanuel Lady Eagles earned a dominant home victory Tuesday night, January 27, defeating the Twiggs Academy Lady Trojans 73–34 to remain undefeated in region play at 5–0. Aubrey Williams led the Lady Eagles with 16 points and 12 rebounds, posting a strong double-double. Kaley Flowers was also outstanding, finishing with 15 points, 14 rebounds, and 3 blocks to control the paint on both ends of the floor. Emily McRae contributed 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists, while Aubrey Scott added 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Rayleigh Faircloth narrowly missed a double-double with 9 points and 9 rebounds. Bailey McNure chipped in 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals, providing energy on defense. Addalyn Terwilliger rounded out the scoring with 5 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.

The Lady Eagles traveled to Macon Friday, January 30, to take on the Covenant Lady Rams.

David Emanuel Eagles earned a convincing home victory Tuesday night (1/23), defeating the Twiggs Academy Trojans 61–37

The Eagles were led by a dominant performance from Ethan Fields, who poured in 39 points while adding 14 rebounds and 3 assists. Jack Evan Fields recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, and Karson Kettles chipped in 8 points and 8 rebounds. Thomas Cain and Ben Griner rounded out the scoring with 2 points each. David Emanuel controlled the game on both ends of the floor, pulling away early and never looking back.

The Eagles were back in action Friday, January 30, when they traveled to Macon to take on the Covenant Rams.
