DEA defeats Westminster Christian Academy

DEA had their Homecoming game Friday night, September 22, and defeated Westminster Christian Academy. Billy Martin began the game with a 57-yard run, followed by Clayton Hood’s interception and Jay Carter making a fumble recovery. Martin then made a 4-yard run, boosting the score to 12-0. Richard Braddy made a 42-yard touchdown pass to Randon Williams, followed by a pass to Hood, boosting the score to 20-0. Hood then made an interception and Tony Sutton made a 4-yard run, followed by Carter making a pass to Ben Flanders, boosting the score to 28-0. Williams made an interception followed by Hood making a 22-yard run, bringing the score to 34-0. A safety when the ball snapped through the end zone during a punt by WCA brought the score to 36-0 with Martin making an interception, earning the winning score of 36-0.
