DEA defeated Crisp Academy Thursday night, August 31. Richard Braddy started the game with a 48-yard touchdown reception to Billy Martin. Braddy then made a 1-yard run followed by a 7-yard run by Clayton Hood, bringing the score to 20-0. Braddy made another 52-yard touchdown reception to Randon Williams, boosting the score to 26-0, followed by Martin making a 6-yard run, Hood making a 56-yard run and Tony Sutton making a 6-yard run, bringing the score to 44-6. The Eagles ended the game with a winning score of 44-12
