Emanuel County Schools recently received a $100,000 donation from Crider Foods through Georgia’s Peach Education Tax Credit Program, further strengthening the partnership between the local industry leader and the school system.

Crider Foods, a third-generation food packing company based in Stillmore, Georgia, is a leading provider of shelf-stable protein products. The company’s investment will expand student opportunities, particularly in career and technical education, by supporting CTAE and the EDGE College & Career Academy with updated equipment, industry certifications, and real-world learning experiences.

“At Crider Foods, supporting the communities where we live and work is fundamental to who we are,” said Bill Crider. “We’re humbled by the opportunity to support Emanuel County Schools and play a small part in helping students build skills for the future.”

The Peach Education Tax Credit allows individuals and businesses to direct a portion of their Georgia state income taxes to support local schools at no additional cost by choosing where their tax dollars go. “We are grateful for Crider Foods’ continued investment in our students and our schools,” said Superintendent Dr. Denise Warnock. “Their generous contribution will enhance opportunities for our students, particularly in career and technical education programs. Together, we are building a stronger future by investing in the success of every student.”

Partnerships like this allow Emanuel County Schools to expand student opportunities and strengthen relationships with local industry leaders dedicated to education and workforce development.
