John Crapps, a member of the Swainsboro High School FFA chapter in Swainsboro, will be on stage and in the spotlight October 21-24, during the 2026 National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis.
Crapps, a SHS junior, and the son of Joey Crapps III and Stephanie Crapps, has been selected to play trombone in the National FFA Band.
Crapps submitted an audition tape and was selected to help bring full instrumental balance to the band from a pool of applicants nationwide.
The National FFA Band will perform several times during the national convention and expo. Crapps will join fellow band members in Indianapolis for rehearsals three days before the convention and expo begins.
