The Swainsboro Exchange Club held its regular meeting on October 14, welcoming guest speaker Corporal Jack Thain of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Law Enforcement Division.
Corporal Thain, who has served with DNR for 20 years, began his career in Game Management after completing the Fish & Game Preserve Management program at Swainsboro Tech. After four years, he transferred to the Law Enforcement Division, where he continues to serve today.
During his presentation, Corporal Thain provided an overview of the various divisions within the DNR and the responsibilities of each. He also shared updates and statistics from Fiscal Year 2025, giving members a closer look at the department's ongoing efforts to protect Georgia's natural resources.
