Clarence Danny "Clay" Cumbee, Jr., age 51, passed away at his residence in Swainsboro. Funeral services were held Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021, at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Murray Hand and Reverend Eddie Toole officiating. Interment followed in the Old Canoochee Church Cemetery. Family received friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home Sunday from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
Clay was born September 6, 1970, in Meridian, MS, to C. Danny Cumbee and the late Brenda Gail Brinson Lewis. After college graduation, Clay was self-employed as a floral designer and did landscaping.
Survivors include his father; brother, Ashley Lewis; sister, Brande Gail Lewis; nephews, Dalton Ridgdill and Landon Lewis; and niece, Atlanta G. Ridgdill Foster.
Arrangements were by Tomlinson Funeral Home and Crematory.
