City Council zoom meeting held

A special called Zoom meeting of Mayor and City Council was held Thursday, March 9, at 6 p.m. at the City Hall. Members present were Sconyers, Parker, Collins, Davis, and Quarterman. Member absent was Stafford.

Old Business:

Council considered for approval of an alcoholic beverage license application for Ashley Brewer Youmans/dba The Liquor Vault located at 403 North Coleman Street. Motion was made by Councilperson Sconyers and seconded by Davis with a 5-0 vote.

Council considered for approval of an alcoholic beverage license application for Niranjan A. Patel/ dba Mojo’s Wine and Spirits located at 546 South Main Street. Motion was made by Councilperson Sconyers and seconded by Davis with a 4-0 vote. Motion was carried by Collins. Mayor Bennett recused due to conflict of interest.

Council considered for approval of an alcoholic beverage license application for Denise Miles/dba Lounge 2020 located at 406 Rentz Street. Motion was made by Councilperson Parker and seconded by Sconyers with a 5-0 vote.
