Cheryl Lanette Blair, age 51, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 19, 2021. A homecoming Celebration was held Saturday, July 24, 2021 at the Swainsboro City Cemetery with Rev. Charles Holloway presiding and Pastor Jeanette Harden as Eulogist.
Cheryl was a 1987 graduate of Swainsboro High School. Early in life, she joined the Lester Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully in the Choir and served on the Usher Board for many years. Cheryl was a true Swainsboro Tigers fan and loved watching her son, Quez, participate in football and basketball, and her daughter, Cherrelle, in soccer. She was employed by Nordson Corporation. Ms. Blair is preceded in death by her grandparents, Mattie Blair and Matthew and Minnie Pearl Bright; great-grandparents, Fannie Singleton and Willie Mathis; and brother, Andre Moody.
Survivors include her children, LynQuez Blair of Atlanta, Shawntionna Lodge and Cherrelle Blair, both of Swainsboro; parents, Matthew (Mary) Bright of Nunez, and Deborah Mills of Dublin; granddaughter, Paisley Lodge; 4 brothers; 8 sisters; 2 aunties; 1 uncle; special cousin; 5 cousin aunties; 3 special friends; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
