The Patrick Carr Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution, held its quarterly meeting Monday night, September 11, at President David Hargrove’s home at 6:30 p.m. With President Hargrove’s presiding, there were nine in attendance. After a fantastic evening meal prepared by President Hargrove, dual member Dess Smith III of the Wiregrass Chapter in Swainsboro presented President Hargrove’s two Chapter flag streamers that was earned by the Chapter in 2022; the Georgia Society Membership Award for 100 % recruitment of members and the National Society President General Distinction Award. Compatriot Henry Tinley then presented information on where Governor David Emanuel might be buried in Burke County. Dual member John Tapley has been doing research on the location of David Emanuel's grave because Emanuel County is named after the Governor.
