Mrs. Carol Elaine Scarboro, age 76, passed away Monday, January 23, 2023, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, January 26, at Rehoboth Baptist Church with Rev. Sammy Hall and Rev. Craig Foskey officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. The family received friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, January 26, at Rehoboth Baptist Church
Mrs. Scarboro was born March 23, 1946, in Swainsboro, to the late Grady and Susie Pearl Norris Colston. She was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church. Mrs. Scarboro was a retired nurse at St. Joseph Home Healthcare.
Mrs. Scarboro is survived by her husband, Ronnie Scarboro of Kite; three daughters, Denise (Robert) Savedge of Kite, Missy (Marty) Smith of Kite, and Ronda (Ricky) McCranie of Kite; five grandchildren, Deidre Woods, Ronnie Smith, Kyle Smith, Nicholas Gavetti, and Britt McCranie; and two great-grandchildren, Vincent Smith and Katie Woods.
Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
