The Fall Line Chapter Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution held their monthly meeting Tuesday night, October 14, at the Washington County Chamber of Commerce in Sandersville at 7 p.m. With President Sandy Mercer presiding, they had nine in attendance. President Sandy led the Pledge to the U.S. Flag, the Pledge to the Sons of the American Revolution, then said the prayer. President Sandy then asked Dess Smith to introduce the speaker, Compatriot Allen Burton, who presented his program on Benjamin Franklin. Allen is a member of the Washington/Wilkes Chapter in Washington, Georgia.
