The Lt. Gen. Richard H. Anderson SCV Camp #47 of Beauford, SC, held its monthly meeting April 6, at the Harmony Lodge #22 AFM at 12 p.m. With Commander Mike Monahan presiding, they had 34 in attendance. After the invocation by Chaplain Miles Montgomery, the pledge of allegiance to the U.S. Flag was said, and Mike welcomed everyone to the meeting. Miles blessed the food and they had a fantastic lunch. After the meal, Commander Mike introduced the program presenter, Compatriot Steve Burke, who is a member of the Wiregrass Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution and lives in Garfield. His presentation was on the "Hunley Ceremony”. After Burke’s presentation, Commander Mike thanked Steve for his program. Skunk Brigade members in attendance were Dess Smith III, Ted Walker and Lee Herron.
