On Friday, March 24, 2023, Compatriot Steve Burke of the Wiregrass Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution traveled to Parramore Hill on the Banks of the Ogeechee River to present a program to the Marietta Boy Scout Troop 444. Burke's program was on "Survival Skills". In attendance were six adults and 22 Boy Scouts.
