The Four Rivers Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution held its monthly meeting at Chatters Restaurant in Lyons, Georgia on Thursday night, March 16, at 6 p.m. with President George King presiding, we had 14 in attendance. The Wiregrass Chapter President Wilder Smith, Jr. presented the Sgt-at- Arms Dan Brown with the 244th Brier Creek Anniversary Celebration Streamer that was earned by the Four Rivers Chapter for presenting its wreath at the event in honor of those 150 Patriots who died on the battlefield. The program for the evening was presented by Compatriot Steve Burke. His presentation was on "Life on the Frontier, 1700's.”
