President Randy Jones of the Mill Creek Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution, participated, along with 47 other Genealogy organizations, in the Statesboro Regional Public Libraries Genealogy Resource Fair. This event was held on April 14, 2023. President Randy asked Compatriot Steve Burke of the Wiregrass Chapter in Swainsboro to set up his Traveling Trunk of four tables of American Revolutionary War items. Compatriot Steve was assisted by Compatriots Lee Herron Brier Creek Chapter in Screven County, Johnny Tapley Wiregrass Chapter in Swainsboro, President Randy Jones Mill Creek Chapter in Statesboro, and David Morgan applicant in the Wiregrass Chapter in Swainsboro. Compatriot Burke was able to talk with hundreds of visitors.
