At our All School Chapel services, Mrs. Haylee gives our monthly Kindness Award. This award is possible because of a donor who feels strongly about being kind. Each month, DEA staff is encouraged to take note of special acts of kindness that set a student apart and nominate them, and from the monthly nominations, a recipient is selected. Thursday, October 5, the Kindness Award was given to Blakely Brinson. Blakely is the 4th grade daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Billy Brinson. As Mrs. Haylee spoke, she talked about "doing right" no matter what, because it's what the Lord would have us do. Blakley was nominated by her teacher for standing up for a classmate. We are so proud of Blakely!
