Brier Creek Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution, Screven County, presented their 13th U.S. Flag Certificate to the North Augusta Department of Public Safety Fire Station 1 on Monday, March 31. The "Certificate of Commendation" was given to Fire Station 1, PSO Sgt. Daniel Smith, by President Lee Herron, in recognition of exemplary patriotism in the display of the flag of the United States of America in the correct way.

The "Certificate of Commendation" was given to the Athletic Department Director, J.D. Chaplain, by President Lee Herron, in recognition of exemplary patriotism in the display of the flag of the United States of America in the correct way.
Recognizing people, businesses, organizations and the government with a U. S. Flag Certificate is a project of the Sons of the American Revolution. The Brier Creek Chapter began presenting these certificates in 2018 and this project is an ongoing project of the Brier Creek Chapter, the GASSAR, and the NSSAR and we will be honoring others with this certificate.
