Members of the Swainsboro Wiregrass Chapter, Thomson Little River Chapter and the Screven County Brier Creek Chapter of the Georgia Society of the American Revolution and the Daughters of the American Revolution of the Brier Creek Chapter traveled to the Brier Creek Battlefield to assist President Wayne Howard in presenting 12 Wreaths Across America to honor those over 150 Patriots that died on this battlefield on March 3, 1779 while fighting for the freedoms that we enjoy today. The ceremony started at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 18, 2022. Members hope that you will join them again on Sunday, December 17, 2023, for their next WAA at the Battlefield.
