Mr. Brandon Powell, 37, of Swainsboro, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Emanuel Medical Center in Swainsboro following a brief illness. A memorial gathering will be held Friday, August 11, at 6 p.m. in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home.
Brandon was born July 19, 1986, in Bartow, FL, to Darren Powell and Linda Harrell. He was 100% a family man. Brandon loved his family dearly and spent all available time with them. He loved to cook with the kids and teach them new things. Brandon also loved working on vehicles with his sons. He was such a sweet man and made friends everywhere he went. His smile was infectious. Mr. Powell is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Harrell; and maternal grandfather, Nelvin Harrell.
Mr. Powell is survived by his wife, Jessica Powell of Swainsboro; father, Darren Powell of Eastman; sons, Jesse and Tyler Powell, both of Swainsboro; daughter, Savannah Powell of Swainsboro; brother, Justin Harrell (India) of Eastman; sister, Myrakl Powell of Eastman; maternal grandmother, Kay Harrell of Bartow, FL; nieces, Alexis Raffield and Kaylee Harrell; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
