The Emanuel County Board of Education met on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. at the Central Office with the following members in attendance: John Allen Bailey, Del Brown, Cherie Hooks, Tanya Lane, Johnny Parker and Sandra Swinney. Chairman Del Brown welcomed everyone calling the meeting to order. Johnny Parker delivered the invocation followed by Del Brown leading the Pledge of Allegiance. A motion was made by Tanya Lane to accept the agenda as presented. Sandra Swinney seconded. John Allen Bailey, Del Brown, Cherie Hooks, Tanya Lane, Johnny Parker, and Sandra Swinney voted “yes”. CARRIED.
The Consent Agenda was presented as follows:
