Bennett makes donations

For the past two weekends, Greg Bennett and the workers at Mojo’s Xpress Wash have conducted their annual “haunted wash.” People from the local area and surrounding communities turned out by the hundreds for the simple yet entertaining event. Each vehicle paid $25 and sat in line to wait their turn to go through the wash as cast members dressed in their best frightening costumes got into character and set the mood for Halloween.

On Monday, Bennett met with Swainsboro Police Chief Randy Ellison, Leta Fuentes, and the Betty Gambrell Animal Shelter as well as Barb Moore, Patricia Hancock, and the Emanuel County Humane Society to hand over a donation of funds from the wash. Each organization received $600.
