The Brier Creek Revolutionary War Battlefield Association, Inc. held its Annual Banquet on Friday night, March 3, 2023, at the Sylvania First United Methodist Church Social Hall at 6:30 p.m. With President Stephen Hammond presiding, there were over 50 attendees. President Hammond called on the Color Guard Commander Steve Burke to post the Colors. After the Colors were posted, the blessing was said, and an outstanding meal was served by Annette McCray of Metter. The program for the evening was presented by Compatriot Dan McMichael. His presentation was on "The Life and Times of General George Washington.”
