Mrs. Barbara “BJ” Wood Williams, age 76, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023, at AU Medical Center in Augusta. Memorial service was held Monday, September 11, at 11 a.m. at First Methodist Church in Swainsboro with Rev. David Unkles officiating.
BJ was born in Texas to the late Mack and Eloise Wood. She worked in Interior Design and Landscape Design. BJ was a member of Swainsboro First Methodist Church. Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Jim Williams; brother, Chip Wood; and sister, Linda Parrish.
Tomlinson Funeral Home & Crematory was in charge of arrangements.
