An update from your local library

To kick off the week, we show our gratitude to the brave men and women who have served our country by giving them breakfast and coffee. Join us for Veterans' Breakfast every Monday morning if you have served or currently are active. This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and honor our heroes over a delightful breakfast. Things were official on Tuesday, August 22, at 4 p.m. with the Emanuel County Library Board Meeting. On Wednesday, August 23, at 4 p.m., the Teen Anime Club gathered for activities. If you are a teenager with a passion for anime, or simply curious about it, this is the place for you. Make new friends, discuss your favorite anime series, and be part of a fun, welcoming community. Our youngest library-goers are not left out either. Toddler Time is every Friday at 10:30 a.m. With engaging stories and delightful activities, it is the perfect outing for toddlers and their caregivers. Finally, get crafty with the inaugural meeting of the Knotty Knitters Knitting Club on Saturday, August 26, at 10 a.m. Whether you are a seasoned knitter or picking up needles for the first time, everyone is welcome. Come share tips, tricks, and good company with fellow knitting enthusiasts. These events reflect Franklin Memorial Library's commitment to serve as a community hub, offering activities that cater to diverse interests and age groups. We look forward to welcoming you to these events and many more in the future.
