Amanda L. Clements, age 44, of Swainsboro, died Thursday, February 26, 2026, at the Community Hospice House in Vidalia following a courageous battle with cancer since the age of thirteen. Funeral service was held Sunday, March 1, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Bratton and Pastor Reece Mincey officiating. Interment followed beside her son, Jake, at Eastbrook Cemetery and Mausoleum in Swainsboro.
Pallbearers were Lee O’Conner, Logan Flowers, Terry Lumley, Noot Irvin, Wendell Coleman and Payne Morgan.
Amanda was a native of Emanuel County, and a 2000 graduate of David Emanuel Academy in Stillmore. She lived in Ailey for fifteen years before recently retuning to Emanuel County where she lived most of her life. Amanda was a homemaker and attended Oaky Grove Church in Wrightsville. She enjoyed going to dirt track races in Swainsboro and baseball games with her son, and she loved her cat and two dogs. Miss Clements is preceded in death by her son, Jakob “Jake” Tyler Lively in 2022; and grandparents, Jack and Nadine Dickerson and Roy Clements, Sr. and Betty Jean Clements.
Miss Clements is survived by her parents, Roy and Jackie Clements; brother, Robbie Clements; aunts, Janice Davis (Larry), of Cedar Crossing; Karen Beckworth (Timmy) of Swainsboro, Christy Clements of Buford, Louise Hitchcock (Jerry) of Cedar Crossing and Jimmy Sue Wilkes of Lyons; uncle, Raiford Blount (Jerris) of Vidalia; nephews, Jaxson Clements of Cedar Crossing and Nat Clements of Swainsboro; niece, Melanie Clements of Hazlehurst; and two special friends, Wendell Coleman and Suzanne Fjeltul.
