The Miss Southeast Georgia Scholarship Organization would like to congratulate those that competed at the 81st Annual Miss Georgia Scholarship Pageant the week of June 11 through June 20. The young ladies competed in talent, interview, on stage conversation and evening gown and fitness.
Sophia Tang, Miss Southeast Georgia 2026, won the Newcomer’s Preliminary Talent Award on Thursday night at the Miss Georgia Scholarship Competition. Sophia played Brahms’s Hungarian Dance No. 5 on piano. Sophia was also selected as a Top 16 Fi Semi Finalist on Saturday. She will be entering dental school at the Dental College of Georgia at the end of June, after graduating from Augusta University with a major in Cell and Molecular Biology and a minor in Spanish. Sophia is the daughter of Dr. Amy Lee and Tom Tang.
Miss Emanuel County 2026, EmmaKate Broome won the preliminary evening gown award on Wednesday night at the 81st Miss Georgia Pageant. EmmaKate is a rising junior at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College where she is an Agriculture Education major. She is the daughter of Shane and Millie Broome and resides in Perry, Ga.
Kylie West, Miss Crossroads of the South 2026, was recognized at the 2026 Miss Georgia Scholarship Pageant as the recipient of the Frances Frazier Non-Finalist Talent Award. Kylie earned the honor for her outstanding self-choreographed tap dance performance to “These Boots were Made for Walking.” A senior at Georgia Southern University, West is pursuing a degree in Construction Management and will graduate the fall of 2026. She will begin her career with Batson-Cook Construction this summer where she will apply her leadership skills and achievements in the construction industry. Kylie is the daughter of Tom and Laurie West of Arizona.
Miss Southeast Georgia’s Teen, Erin Dumas was presented the Non-Finalist Interview Award on Saturday evening during the 81st Miss Georgia Pageant. Erin is a rising senior at South Effingham High School. She serves as student class president, competes as a varsity athlete, and is planning to pursue a medical degree after high school. She is the daughter of Lauren and Walter Dumas of Guyton, Ga.
Erin Stanford, Miss Emanuel County’s Teen and Honor Graduate of Emanuel County Institute. She will attend UGA in the Fall, and she was recently named as a Georgette for the University of Georgia Dance Team. Erin is the daughter of Chris Stanford and Sheenika Wilson.
Scout Hall, Miss Southern Crossroads’ Teen, received the 2026 Newcomer’s Talent Award Thursday night at the Miss Georgia’s Teen Scholarship Competition in Columbus. Scout resides in Swainsboro and is a rising junior at David Emanuel Academy. She is the 16-year-old daughter of Angie Hall and Trent Hall.
Miss Emanuel County’s Teen Belle Lyndi Rae Simmons won the Duck Derby at the Miss Georgia Scholarship Competition Saturday June 20th by selling the most Ducks. Lyndi Rae will go on to be a National Little Sister at the 100th Miss America Pageant in September in West Palm Beach, Florida. She is the 10-year-old daughter of Kevin and Amanda Simmons of Midville and attends David Emanuel Academy.
Other Belles that participated at the Miss Georgia Competition were Miss Southeast Georgia’s Belle, Bailey Brown of Twin City and L.E. Bennett of Macon; Miss Emanuel County’s Belle, Braylee Williams of Swainsboro and Macie Anne Conner of Warner Robins; Miss Crossroads of the South’s Belle, Ella Grace Robinson of Midville and Sonni Cannon of Newnan.
