The Veterans at the Library held their weekly meeting on Monday, October 31, 2022, at the Franklin Memorial Library at 9:15 a.m. with Chair John Tapley presiding. There were 36 in attendance including four guests. SHS Junior, Faith Ann Rogers, and 8th grade home school student, Sam Williams, are both Emanuel County 4-H members who prepared and provided breakfast for the Veterans at the Library during their Monday morning meeting. They are both part of the Emanuel County 4-H food challenge team and will compete in Foods Projects at Rock Eagle District Project Achievement in February of 2023. The teens baked two pans of breakfast casserole as well as a cake. Veterans at the Library would like to remind all local Veterans that they are invited to attend each Monday morning meeting at 9:15 a.m. at Franklin Memorial Library. Holidays are excluded.
