Tomlinson Funeral Home & Crematory announces the death of Mr. Charles Edward “D-Bo” Pullens who passed away on September 24, 2023. Funeral services were held Saturday, Sep-tember 30, at 11 a.m. in the Promise Connections Church. The family received friends Friday, September 29, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Charles was born December 25, 1962, in Bulloch County, to the late Jay C. Pullen Sr. and Susie Mae Kirkland Pullen. He was very kindhearted but very outspoken. Charles always left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. We all have people in our life who we ad-mire and respect, and Charles was one of those people. He was able to adapt and overcome any situation he was faced with. The most important thing about Charles was his relation-ship with the Lord. Mr. Pullens is preceded in death by his parents; six sisters, Debbie Pul-lens, Denise Pullens, Barbara Tillman, Helen Jones, Christine Bell and Brenda Jones Stewart; and three brothers, Bonnie Marvin Pullens, Leroy Pullens and Horace Pullens.

Mr. Pullens is survived by two sons, Charles Pullens Jr. (Mehoshi) and Michael Pullens; daughter, Mellissa Merrion; eight grandchildren, TJ, Messiah, Tezaela, Tezarian, Symone, Emelli, Jah’Qiez, and Kareem; five sisters, Anna Coney (Herman), Diane Pullens, Wynie (Mickey) King, Geraldine (Pumpkin) Turner and Phyllis Strobridge; one brother, Jay C. Pul-lens Jr. (Denise); and a host of nieces and nephews.
