Vautier wins artwork contest

Posted

Gifts Galore Monogramming and More sponsored an artwork contest inviting and encouraging all school age children in Emanuel County to join in CREATING A TEE. Children were asked to draw or sketch what they thought HOME means to them, what they love about the festival, and what makes their HOMEtown the best. Gifts Galore Monogramming and More partnered with Berni’s on West Main, Stephanie H. Miller and the Ultimate Bullfighters 3rd Annual Party in the Pines.

There were approximately 50 entries that were judged by Emanuel Arts Council and Blackmon Outfitters. Amongst all the talented entries, Carolyn Vautier was the artwork contest winner.

Vautier is in Mrs. Dianne Lawson’s 3rd grade class at David Emanuel Academy. This artwork was displayed on a tee for the Pinetree Festival for Vautier and her parents.

Vautier received the following: her artwork came to life on a tee by Gifts Galore Monogramming & More, a complimentary dinner for herself from Berni's on West Main, and a free entry into the 3rd Annual - UBF Party in the Pines.

Gifts Galore Monogramming and More wants to thank the judges at Emanuel Arts Council, as well as Blackmon Outfitters. They also want to thank the teachers that allowed students to participate in class and the parents that participated at HOME!

There are so many great drawings that we will be displayed in the store in our “Everything HOME section”. Look for Vautier’s design inside GG on a Signature HOME tee soon.
