Swainsboro Police Chief Randy Ellison seems to have the OK from his family concerning his plans to retire at the end of this year. The Chief announced his retirement this past Thursday night at the annual Police Department Awards Banquet. This December, Ellison will close out a 35-year career in law enforcement including the past 15 years as Chief of the Swainsboro Police Department.
