The Four Rivers Patriots Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution, held its monthly meeting, Thursday, April 18, at Chatters Restaurant in Lyons at 7 p.m. With President Steve DeWeil presiding, there were 15 in attendance. After an outstanding meal, President Steve called on Mike Lisenby to present his program for the evening. Mike's presentation was on the "Constitution". Mike is retired lawyer from Swainsboro and is married to the former Nancy Smith of Swainsboro. He is a member of the First Methodist Church and Swainsboro Exchange Club. Next month’s meeting will be held on May 16, at Chatters Restaurant with the Wiregrass Chapter President of the Swainsboro SAR Chapter presenting his program on "The Battle of Trenton, American Revolutionary War".
