Wood, Howard sentenced in Superior Court

The following occurred during the Emanuel County Superior Court July 2022 term:

Lonnie Dewitt Wood, a repeat offender as imposed below, negotiated a guilty plea on one count theft by receiving stolen property, one count possession of meth, one count giving false information, one count suspended license, and one count speeding. He was fined $500 and sentenced to 10 years probation. The court sentences the defendant as a recidivist under O.C.G.A. § 17-10-7(a).

Mandy Michelle Howard, a repeat offender as imposed below, negotiated a guilty plea on one count possession of meth with intent to distribute and two counts possession of schedule IV controlled substance. She was sentenced to a total of 30 years with the first three years to be served in confinement and the remainder to be served on probation. The court sentences the defendant as a recidivist under O.C.G.A. § 17-10-7(a).
