For the past 4 - 5 years, some Wiregrass Chapter members have been meeting each Friday morning at 8 a.m. for coffee and breakfast. For the last two years, the group of men have enjoyed their Friday morning fellowship at Leanna's Restaurant on the square in Swainsboro and normally have anywhere from 4 to 10 members attend out of the chapter’s total membership of 84. Their most recent Friday morning breakfast stop was a different story though as the chapter welcomed Senior Vice President Joe Vancura of the Sons of the American Revaluation Georgia Society to the table.
After installing the Wiregrass Chapter’s 2022 officers the previous day and staying overnight at the Edenfield Inn, VP Vancura opted for breakfast with chapter members the next day, bringing the number of attendees to 14. Chapter members also all wore their skunk hats for the occasion.
The breakfast is not organized, members just drink coffee, eat and have outstanding conversation.
