Twin City Police Department’s newest staff member, Officer Tiffany Dixon, dedicated herself to her new profession by taking oath of office during a swearing in ceremony hosted by the Twin City Police Department and the City of Twin City last week. The ceremony was held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, October 7, at Twin City Police Department and included a brief introduction by TCPD Chief Hank Whiters on Officer Dixon’s professional career background from nursing to correctional officer to her most recent profession as a law enforcement officer for the Twin City Police Department. Invocation by the chief took place prior to Twin City Mayor Matt Donaldson administering the oath of office. Officer Dixon received her badge and expressed her appreciation for the support she received while pursuing a profession in law enforcement. Refreshments were served following the ceremony.
