Veolia Lee Mosley, age 71, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023. A Celebration of Life was held Sunday, April 16, at 2 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Swainsboro with Scott Weigl reading the obituary.
Ms. Mosley was born in Emanuel County January 28, 1952, to the late Roy and Elvina Williams. She was the fifth of eight children born to this union. Veolia was baptized January 3, 1970, as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She loved telling people about her hope for the future and how soon no one will have to suffer and die. Veolia married Nathaniel Lee and from this union came one daughter, Dorsie Nicole Smith (Casey) and one adopted son, Trevor Hickston Lee. She later married Eugene Mosley. Ms. Mosley had two grandchildren, Kaci Nicole Smith and Natalie Ginna Smith. Her grandchildren made her life complete. Veolia loved them dearly, as she was their “Pookie”. Ms. Mosley was a loving mother, grandmother, and very special sister. She will be missed dearly by many people. Ms. Mosley is preceded in death by her brother, Roy Williams; and sister, Rosa Williams Conner.
Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
