A&O Men’s Center and Unity in the Community held their goat giveaway Saturday, September 4. Over 200 winter jackets and over 30 bikes were donated to help bring joy to families. A big “Thank You” goes out to the following for helping make this such a huge success: Custom Furniture, Terwilliger’s, Farmers Furniture, Mr. Bill Rogers, Pastor Harvey Rackins and Jennifer Rackins, Famous Credit, Stacey Avery, Citizens Bank, Swainsboro Police Department, Mr. Ronnie Sweat, Chapman Funeral Home, Advance Metal, Glady Collins, Franklin Memorial Library staff, Trane, Remedy staffing, John Troupe, and Young Fashion. We would also like to thank Mayor Schwabe for attending, and also for encouraging the community to help make this the biggest coat giveaway ever!
