U N I T Y

Unity. How significant is unity? Why even ask about unity and harmony? It is amazing how pleasant music sounds when all instruments are in unity and harmony. Life is pleasant when things are harmonious. We live every day in the peace of God when nature is in harmony. The stars and moon are seen shining at night and the sun is seen beaming during the day. We enjoy the beaches when the water obeys the boundaries set by God. But when the wind gets in the water, and things are not harmonious, people have to leave their homes by the beach because of the high tides.
Well today we are seeing high tides because there is no unity to bring harmony. But it doesn't have to be that way. Jesus tells us, "My peace I leave with you. Not as the world gives, give I unto you” (John 14:27). One of my favorite inspirations is Psalms 133:1, "How good and how pleasant it is for brotheren to dwell together in unity." Well we are here dwelling together. So how are we going to live together in unity? We do it through the unifier, Jesus Christ.

The first commandment puts everything in focus. “Thou shalt have no other gods before me." (Ex. 20:3). Get your focus on Jesus. God created us to worship him. Jesus told Satan, "...Thou shalt worship the Lord thy and him only shalt thy serve” (Matthew 4:10).
So, let us unite in worshipping the Lord. Let's be careful how we use our time. Let's use our time to glorify God. Never put confidence in man nor world systems but put your faith in God. Worship him. He alone is worthy. Start where you are in your home, car, or on your job. Change your focus and unite with God by worshipping him. Then you will find unity harmony and peace. So, one around you will start too and this, my friends, is revival.
