Twin City to mask up for Halloween, COVID-style

Posted

Twin City Municipal Buildings are decorated and ready for Halloween Trick-or-Treating. This event will take place on Saturday, October 31, from 6 until 8 pm.  The city of Twin City encourages kids to dress up and trick-or-treat at the welcome center, city hall, old city jail, and police department.   Other locals may be setup in the church parking lot as well.  City commissioners and city workers will staff each candy station. We ask that parents follow some rules to keep everyone safe during the pandemic.

Here are the rules:

  • All trick-or-treaters and parents, including people giving out candy, must wear a face covering.
  • Maintain social distancing
  • Keep it moving — do not congregate in front of buildings or sidewalks.
  • Keep your trick-or-treating crew small, specifically six people or fewer. We recommend that you stick to members of your household or quarantine “bubble”.

Please join us for a safe and fun-filled evening!
