The Twin City Lions Club held their monthly lunch meeting on November 3, at Simply Southern in Twin City. The guest speaker was Emanuel County Probate Court Judge Don Wilkes. Judge Wilkes spoke to the club about how the probate process works and the need for all citizens to have a will and ensure their affairs are in order to help their loved ones handle their estate, nor matter how large or small, upon their death.
On December 1, the Twin City Lions Club met at Simply Southern in Twin City for their monthly lunch meeting. Guest speaker was Emanuel County Development Authority CEO Ken Warnock. Mr. Warnock shared many updates on economic activity in the Emanuel County area including unemployment for the county, the competitiveness of jobs available in our county versus surrounding counties and how the 8400 job Hyundai plant in Bryan County off I-16 and further developments of the I-16 corridor can potentially impact our county.
