Have you been watching the services of the late Queen Elizabeth II? I love to compare things of God to the time we are living in. God's word is always relevant. It's always suitable for our times. Now it's amazing that the Queen's monarchy was 70 years. Yes, she ruled over the United Kingdom whose countries are England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Her reign has come to an end.
There is a kingdom which will never end. That is the Kingdom of God. In His Kingdom we will live forever. Jesus was asked by his disciples to teach them how to pray. Jesus told them in Matthew chapter six to pray, "Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom comes. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven".
Now if we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are living in the Kingdom of God. In Romans 14:17 Paul tells us, " For the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost." It is a spiritual Kingdom. You don't have to worry about things. You have an inheritance that will never fade away.
For Peter 2:9 tells us, " But you are a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people;" We have been adopted in the family of God through his Son, Jesus Christ. Hallelujah. For we are heirs and joint heirs with Christ. I get excited just talking about who we are and our inheritance. For Philippians 4:19 tells us, " But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus".
This earth is not our home, we are just passing through. We will reach out streets which will be paved with gold. Yes, our inheritance is in this world and "out of this world". So today accept Jesus Christ as your king because he is King over all kings. Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and become adopted the Royal Family of God.
In this kingdom, everyone is accepted who believes on the Lord Jesus Christ. There is not respect of persons. For John 3:16 says, For God so loved the world, that gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
So, in this kingdom, you must come through the lineage of Jesus Christ. Only the blood of Jesus can restore us back into the kingdom of God. "Thy Kingdom Come." Receive it now. Whatever the kingdom on earth offers, God gives us more.
