Calling all third, fourth and fifth grade artists and story-tellers! The Forest-Blade has a challenge for you! Throughout the year of 2022, The Blade will host a monthly cartoon challenge for all students at each school in Emanuel County and homeschoolers from the area, too!
So, are you up for the challenge??? If so, read below!
Contest Rules
1. A monthly theme will be announced at the beginning of each month for students to illustrate through picture and short sentence(s).
2. All submissions must be received by the third Wednesday of each month.
3. One lucky winner will be announced in the fourth edition of The Blade each month and will receive a gift card for their submitted work!
4. At the end of the year, the names of all monthly winners will be entered into a final drawing with one lucky winner receiving the title of The Ultimate Cartoonist and an end of the year party and school supplies for his or her class.
For the month of January, the cartoon theme is My Perfect New Year! Students are to submit a cartoon illustration with a couple of sentences describing what he or she may consider to be a perfect new year.
